Marketing Information – A Spititual Concept

You may wonder how marketing information can have a spiritual conception. We will get to that but first we need to understand a general concept of marketing.

We will be delving into two basic types of marketing. At this point, do not misinterpret type and method. These types are general marketing and targeted marketing. Simply put, marketing is broadcasting information about a specific product or service to an audience in a manner that would cause the audience to develop an interest in the product or service.

General marketing can be illustrated by imagining that you shoot a spray of bird shot into a tree and hope that several of the pellets will reach their mark. This equates to a specific message broadcast to a non-specific audience.

Targeted marketing is broadcasting a specific message to a specific interest group. In other words, broadcasting a message about a jewelry store to people actively interested in purchasing jewelry or broadcasting a message about weight loss products or services to potential clients who are looking for these types of products or services.

What, then, is a spiritual concept of marketing and how does that tie in with success training or personal development? The spiritual concept of marketing is best described as the application of marketing techniques to the broadcast of information about ourselves (our product) and our beliefs (our services).

This is the reason that it is important for us to understand marketing information in success training. As we develop our physical success concept we must also develop a spiritual success concept. This will prevent us from putting new wine in an old wineskin.

In order for our marketing to be effective, we must first build trust, not only in our product or service but also in our integrity and motivation. The best way for us to build trust for ourself in others is first to build our trust in our Creator. The more we understand that total trust in Christ creates a more trustworthy character in us, the easier we develop our spiritual marketing concept. A diamond does not have to convince us of its beauty. It simply shines and sparkles.
