Christmas has always been a favorite holiday celebration for me and my family. After my father won His victory and pass away 15 years ago, The luster in the holiday celebration faded a little. It was a difficult time but we got through it and, over the subsequent years, began to enjoy the family get together again.
This Christmas will be the first Christmas without my beloved mother. I know that, for me, Christmas celebrations will never be the same. I know that this upcoming Christmas will be hard to celebrate in the traditional social manner. There is an emptiness in my heart.
God has filled that empty space in my heart with compassion for other. This Christmas I want to concentrate on those who cannot be with their families. I am a clergy member of a Kairos Prison Ministry team. As with all ministries, there is always a need for funds. With this in mind, I have created The Christmas Gift Shop.
